LAF Case Support Travel Grants

At the heart of the Legal Advocacy Fund (LAF) is the important cases and courageous plaintiffs we support. LAF Case Support Travel Grants make it possible for AAUW members to meet these plaintiffs and advocates and hear their stories at AAUW state and regional conventions.

We consider the following criteria when selecting grant recipients:

The grant would significantly increase awareness of LAF and equity issues in the workplace and/or higher education.
The grant candidate’s state or region has an ongoing commitment to LAF.
The grant candidate’s state or region has a proven track record of successful visibility efforts.

Applicants will be contacted by LAF staff. LAF staff will help the chosen grantees make travel arrangements for their speaker.
