AAUW New York City Metropolitan Area Fund Grants

The New York City Metropolitan Area Fund was created to distribute funds from the dissolution of the AAUW New York City Branch. It supports projects to advance gender equity in the 11 counties making up the New York metropolitan area. Lists of eligible counties and their corresponding zip codes are below.

Funds may be available to branches for designated AAUW National programs, pending funding availability and approval including:

• AAUW Start Smart, a salary negotiation workshop for college women.
• AAUW Work Smart, a salary negotiation workshop for working women.

Interested AAUW branches can apply for awards through AAUW’s Community Action Grant program.
