Skye is the director of Institutional Advancement for AAUW. In her role, Skye oversees the corporate and foundation relations team, which manages AAUW’s institutional partnerships in support of our research, advocacy and programs. Skye is an experienced non-profit fundraiser with over 10 years of experience, ranging from alumni engagement and individual giving, to her current passion for corporate and foundation fundraising. Prior to joining AAUW, Skye served as the associate director for foundation relations at the George Washington University, where she built foundation partnerships that supported GW research and programs across the university. In addition to her work as a fundraiser, Skye is also a popular music studies scholar whose work explores cross-racial musical histories between Black and white artists in American music and aims to amplify under-told stories of Black female artists.
