Ways to Support

Every way you give, share, or act moves equity forward.

There are many ways to support AAUW and advance equity for women and girls. Whether you choose to give, volunteer your time, join our community, or champion our work through your network, every action makes a meaningful difference. From becoming a donor or member to fundraising with your branch or engaging as an institutional partner, you’ll find opportunities that match your interests and values. See the sections below to learn more about each option and how you can get involved.

  • Champions are donors who contribute $5,000 or more cumulatively within a fiscal year. In appreciation, Champions are recognized in AAUW’s Annual Report and honored at various events throughout the year, celebrating their commitment to advancing equity for women and girls.
  • Sustainers are donors who make recurring monthly gifts to AAUW, providing reliable and ongoing support for our mission. Sustainers are also recognized in AAUW’s Annual Report throughout the year in appreciation of their continued partnership. Select the “Monthly” donation frequency when making your gift to join the list of committed Sustainers.
  • Non-Cash Options: You can make a meaningful impact through gifts of stock, Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs), IRA contributions, and other non-cash options. To make the process simple, we partner with the FreeWill Smart Giving Suite, which provides easy, secure tools to complete your gift.

  • AAUW Action Network: Sign up to get regular alerts on when and how to engage, including sending letters to your legislators, writing letters to the editor and other timely calls to action.
  • [Upcoming Policy Team advocacy “trainings”]
