
Dr. Ricciotti is a physician at Harvard Medical School in Boston and a new member of the Board of Directors for the American Association of University Women. She is retired from clinical care. She was the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School affiliate. The department was a very diverse group that accurately reflected the community in race, ethnicity, gender, LGBTQI status, and religion. She was a member of Oprah’s Women’s Health Speaking Tour and was voted one of the Top Doctors in Boston. She led the third-largest department, and three-quarters of the faculty were women. Promoting diversity is her passion and research interest. Her professional goals are to build diversity, flatten the hierarchy, enhance organizational culture, and promote equity and inclusion. There are many methods to achieve this. Promoting positive organizational culture is one way, and it is her area of expertise. She is committed to working on new initiatives and learning new perspectives and approaches to further this.
