¿Sabía usted que en el 2015, a las mujeres que trabajaron a tiempo completo en los Estados Unidos típicamente se les pagó solo el 80 por ciento del salario que recibieron los hombres? Aunque ese número había aumentado por un punto en el porcentaje de la cifra en el 2014, en términos estadísticos, ese cambio no es significativo — como el aumento es tan pequeño, solo décimas del uno por ciento, no es un cambio perceptible. Siguiendo ese ritmo del cambio entre 1960 y 2015, se espera que las mujeres alcancen la equidad salarial con los hombres en 2059. Pero ese progreso lento se ha retrasado aún más en años recientes.
