Soldier Girls: The Battles of Three Women at Home Book Discussion

Join AAUW for an online book discussion on July 28. We’ll talk with Helen Thorpe, author of Soldier Girls: The Battles of Three Women at Home and at War. About the book: Many U.S. soldiers sent overseas since 2001 have been women. Surrounded and far outnumbered by men, women soldiers have a decidedly different experience of war.
