Research Panel Webcast: Graduating to a Pay Gap
On November 15, 2012, AAUW launched Graduating to a Pay Gap: The Earnings of Women and Men One Year after College Graduation with a presentation of the findings followed by commentary from a panel of experts.
The findings were presented by report authors Catherine Hill and Christianne Corbett. The panel was moderated by Jenna Johnson, reporter for the Washington Post and included: Dr. Avis Jones-DeWeever, executive director of the National Council of Negro Women; Mark Kantrowitz, publisher of FinAid and Fast Web; Bethany Imondi, AAUW Student Advisory Council member and Georgetown University student; and Lisa Maatz, AAUW director of public policy and government relations.
