What is the program?
An AAUW Summit on Women and the Courts is an opportunity to generate public awareness about the importance of the judicial branch and to inspire your members to put their knowledge into action. Participants in a Summit on Women and the Courts will learn about the judicial nominations process and how AAUW seeks to promote a fair, balanced, and independent judiciary. A Summit on Women and the Courts can also educate members on the various methods of financial and non-financial support that AAUW's Legal Advocacy Fund (LAF) provides to those pursuing sex discrimination cases in academia or the workplace.
