Are you eligible for American Fellowships?

Candidates may apply for only one of the awards listed below. Former recipients of these awards are not eligible to apply for additional American Fellowships or publication grants.

Postdoctoral

1. Are you a U.S. citizen or permanent resident?
2. Will you hold a Ph.D., Ed.D., D.B.A., M.F.A., or D.M. by Nov. 15, 2007?

Summer/Short-term

1. Are you a U.S. citizen or permanent resident?
2. Will you hold a doctorate or M.F.A. degree by Nov. 15, 2007?

Dissertation

1. Are you a U.S. citizen or permanent resident?
2. Are you in a program other than an engineering program?
3. Are you in or entering the final year of your dissertation?
4. Will you have your dissertation proposal approved by the committee by Nov. 15, 2007?
5. Will you have all coursework completed by Nov. 15, 2007?
6. Will you have passed all preliminary exams by Nov. 15, 2007?

If you have answered NO to any of these questions, you are not eligible.

If you have answered YES to ALL of these questions you are eligible.
