Contest Rules
Join us in honoring the six winners of the AAUW Note Card Design contest! Take a look at all the wonderful art (over 200 entries!) with the artists name and branch by visiting the gallery.
The deadline for submissions has passed and voting is closed.
- You must be an AAUW member and the creator of this original art for the entry. Join AAUW or Renew your membership now.
- The deadline to enter is November 3, 2008.
- Artwork must be created and submitted by AAUW members.
- If your entry portrays any identifiable individual(s), You must obtain and provide AAUW with a model release form from the individual(s), or their guardian(s), before AAUW will include the entry in the contest.
- Winning artists will receive 100 cards with their own design, compliments of Barton Cotton. No financial compensation will be provided.
- Artwork may be horizontal or vertical.
- Any image of an offensive nature will be excluded from the contest.
- All entries should be a minimum of 4" x 6" and at a resolution of no less than 300dpi. However, images over 2 megabites cannot be accepted.
- We can accept entries in TIFF, EPS and JPEG file formats.
- The back of each card will acknowledge the name of the artist, the title of the art and if the artist belongs to a branch, the name of that branch will also be acknowledged.
- You must agree that by submitting art to the AAUW Note Card Design contest, you are providing AAUW with a royalty-free perpetual license to use, reproduce, post, display, or create derivative works in any media associated with this contest.
- AAUW will directly contact and secure specific permission from you if AAUW wants to reproduce, post, display or create derivative works for any media uses other than this contest.
- Contest entries are limited to two entries per member.
