About the Contest
Join us in honoring the six winners of the AAUW Note Card Design contest! Take a look at all the wonderful art (over 200 entries!) with the artists name and branch by visiting the gallery.
AAUW accepted digital submissions of original artwork by AAUW members and posted those entries on the online AAUW Design Gallery. Members across the country viewed the entries and voted for their favorite designs to appear on note cards mailed to AAUW members across the country in April 2009, at no upfront costs to AAUW. All entries will be featured on the online AAUW Design Gallery through January 2009.
Until the close of voting, only the title of the artwork appeared in the gallery. Artists' names and branches will appear beside their entry in the AAUW Design Gallery once the winners are announced.
Entries:
- Artwork was created and submitted by AAUW members.
- A model release form was provided for all identifiable persons signed by the person, or their guardian, and provided to AAUW.
- Winning artists will receive 100 cards with their own design, compliments of Barton Cotton. No financial compensation will be provided.
- The back of each card will acknowledge the name of the artist, the title of the art and if the artist belongs to a branch, the name of that branch will also be acknowledged.
To vote:
- Voting began November 10 and ended December 15, 2008.
- Only members were eligible to vote.
- Members were able to vote once a week for their three favorite images.
- Each time members voted, they were automatically entered into a drawing to win one of ten $25 gift certificates to ShopAAUW.
