The AAUW Grad Fair: What’s in It for Your School?

April 29, 2013

Money left in your school’s recruitment budget? Check out the buzz surrounding one of the fastest-growing graduate school fairs in the country!

Held at the University of Maryland, the Grad School Fair is part of the AAUW-sponsored National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL), an annual two-day conference that gathers more than 650 of America’s brightest and best college women leaders. For 28 years, NCCWSL has offered attendees leadership training they can use to improve their campuses and communities.

Why does your school need to be at the grad fair? Just ask one of the many prestigious universities already attending. In only its third year, the fair has gained the attention of Carnegie Mellon University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Notre Dame, to name a few! Schools return year after year because they know they will gain direct access to highly qualified and motivated women candidates with grad school on their radar.

Word cloud with words including, leadership, women and empowerment.
Want even greater access to this highly targeted applicant pool? As a Grad School Fair participant, you will receive pre- or post-conference access to the list of NCCWSL attendees, a perfect opportunity to further the message to prospective candidates. You can also attend the Women of Distinction Ceremony as our guest on Thursday, May 30, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. This event offers an opportunity to meet and greet attendees the day before the fair.
