Program Description
The Program and Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy combines two components. The first is the one-year Graduate Certificate Program for Women in Politics and Public Policy — an education program developed to create access and opportunities for a diverse group of women to become leaders in the non-traditional world of politics, government and policy making. The second is the university-based Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy that was developed to mentor women students and faculty and to undertake special initiatives with the intersection of gender, race/ethnicity, and class at the forefront of its work.
