Program Description
The Connections program, initially funded by the National Science Foundation, is currently institutionalized by Northeastern’s College of Engineering to strengthen the pathways for women and girls to pursue careers in engineering and science. The Connections program addresses social, academic, and career barriers that young women entering the fields of engineering and science must face. Initiated as a partnership with the Patriots' Trail Girl Scout Council, Connections offers middle- and high-school girls, and college women programming in personal development, technical career awareness, and curriculum reinforcement.
