Program Description
The center is one of the oldest and most comprehensive university-based women's centers in the United States. The mission is to provide service, advocacy, and research that enhance women’s capacity to achieve their full potential. The center offers free counseling, scholarships, and fellowships, administrative internships for non-traditional students, and internships with non-profits and for-profit agencies. Among the center’s other programs are child care assistance for students, mentoring for undergraduate junior and senior women, and peer counseling groups for returning undergraduate women.
