Program Description
The Women’s Faculty Mentoring Program (WFMP) is a program that combines the matching of senior and junior women faculty members with training sessions focusing on the tenure process and how to mentor. A program goal is to help create an environment in which junior women faculty can develop to their full academic potential. From an institutional perspective, mentoring junior faculty women is critical if the university is to fully utilize and promote the number of highly qualified women that they recruit each year.
