Macadaeg v. Butler University
Case History
Keri Macadaeg, the former Director of Campus Computing and User Services, is suing the university for creating hostile work environment with sexual harassment. Macadaeg alleges that she was repeatedly approached by a married male executive who sought a sexual relationship, even after Macadaeg rejected his advances. Although Macadaeg complained to university officials, she alleges that no adequate remedy was forthcoming. Keri Macadaeg settled with the university in July 1998. Although the terms of the settlement are confidential, Macadaeg is pleased with the terms.
