Share Your Story

Whether it's a story of challenge or of victory over challenges, personal stories are one of the most powerful ways to share the continued need to break through barriers for women and girls. If you have a compelling story, we invite you to share it. Stories can be about pay equity, sexual harassment, Title IX, pursuing a STEM career, and breaking through educational or economic barriers in general. Or include a story on what it has meant to you to be part of the AAUW community as a member, donor, activist, fellowship or grant recipient, or student leader.

We plan to post many of the stories we receive on our website, so please let us know if we can share your story here. We recommend that stories submitted be approximately 250 to 500 words in length. Please include your name, city and state, and a way that we may contact you, if necessary. Only your name and city/state information will be included with your story if we post it online in the Story Bank.
