AARP Project Overview

AAUW Partners with AARP on Long-Term Care planning Campaign.

Decide. Create. Share. is a national campaign dedicated to increasing awareness among boomer women (ages 45-64) about long-term care planning.

Earlier this year, AAUW members received an e-mail from AAUW informing them about this campaign and how they could become involved. This study was designed to:

• increase awareness and understanding among women of the scope of long-term care,
• motivate women to assess their own and their family's long-term care needs options,
• empower women to take action and create a plan.

AAUW needs your help! A minimum of 250 volunteers are needed to participate to help assess and improve the effectiveness of the materials and resources developed for this campaign by AARP, including a website with tools and resources for women to assist them with their long-term health care planning.
