AAUW Mission Video
AAUW is pleased to provide new public service print ad material derived from the inspirational, promotional video that has come to be popularly known as the "AAUW Mission Video." The ads highlight a selection of diverse members from the video and their belief in the importance of AAUW.
The ad material is available in popular sizes, in black & versions and in color. They can be downloaded as PDFs and localized with AAUW state/branch name, phone number, and website address information in the blank white area on the ads.
Use the public service ads to seek donated ad space in local and community newspapers, and other publications by contacting the advertising managers.
Directions on How to Localize Ads
If you have Adobe Acrobat Professional or Standard you will be able to localize these ads on your own. You will need to go to the tools drop down menu and click on typewriter. Insert a text box from here and you will be able to add your state/branch name and other brief, pertinent information.
If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Professional or Standard, you will need to send your ads to a local printer and have them add the information for you. Be sure to have your local printer use the Helvetica family of fonts when localizing, so that the localized text is consistent with the current text font.
Additional Promotional Material
Also provided is downloadable art for creating mini-billboards. The mini-billboards can be printed by your local signage company on foam core with an easel back for standing. They are a great promotional tool for use on AAUW exhibit and event tables, and other opportunities for table-top display and visibility. Please Note: Mini-billboards should not be printed larger than the size of the downloadable art provided in order to maintain image quality.
If you have questions or need additional information, contact media@aauw.org Please also be sure to also contact and let us know of ad placements your state/branch has obtained or how the ads and/or mini-billboards are being used in general.
