Under our Employee Directed Compensation Plan, eligible employees may elect to participate in our medical, dental, supplemental life and long-term disability insurance plans, and 401(k) retirement program. Health care coverage is effective the first day of the month following date of hire. Eligible employees also may establish dependent care and medical expense accounts on a pre-tax basis. AAUW provides to eligible employees benefit dollars, currently $100, each pay period to offset the costs of their elected benefits. Employees may also purchase Smart Benefits up to established maximums on a pre-tax basis. We also offer flexible schedules for many of our positions, business casual dress, and a metro-accessible location.
